This solution allows the municipality to manage the full life-cycle of a query made by the external auditors. the process start when the query is received by the designated person in the organisation. The request for response by the relevant departments and finally the compilation of a response to the external auditor.

The Head of Internal Audit will use the Combined Assurance Model as evidence for this certification.  It is therefore critical that a structured approach is followed to collate the information to be captured in the Combined Assurance Model and that the enabling technology allows data integrity, access control and management reporting, including but not limited to consolidation/ aggregation of information, trend analyses and history maintenance.
